- Sprouts Farmers Market announced Thursday that its store expansion plans for 2025 will include significant growth in Florida.
- So far, the specialty grocer said it plans to open “more than seven new stores” in the state, with the first opening on Friday in St. Johns.

Along with announcing 2025 growth plans, Sprouts also said it will host two multi-day hiring events in Florida in preparation for the influx of new stores. The grocer said the upcoming locations would create more than 650 jobs across the state.
Sprouts currently has four locations in the Sunshine State marked as “Coming Soon” on its website:
- St. Johns opening Friday at 120 Shops Blvd.
- Melbourne-Wickham opening March 14 at 5185 N. Wickham Rd.
- Largo opening March 21 at 2156 E. Bay Dr.
- Coconut Creek opening April 25 at 1019 Lyons Rd.
The announcement added that the specialty grocer will open more stores across the greater Orlando, St. Petersburg and Palm Beach County areas this year.
Sprouts’ focus on Florida took root in 2022 when the grocer opened six stores in the state, marking the most openings of any state that year. The following year, the grocer debuted nine new stores in the state.
Sprouts operates more than 430 stores across 24 states, with 47 locations in Florida — the same number of stores as its home state of Arizona.
